I am ... very happy with your plans, the organization that you have put into it and I am extremely happy with the response I have gotten from you when I have encountered a problem.
It sure does save money. At the same time it allows me and others like me to experience making the cage for our animal (animals) that we care so much about. Examples of Reptile Cages and Snake Enclosure Designs

These are some example cage types.
There are a range of reptile cage types and snake enclosure designs. The most obvious of these is the difference between terrestrial cages which are elongated and arboreal cages which are tall.
Reptile cages can have sliding glass doors, lids that open at the top, front opening doors, double doors, burrowing areas, water areas, large glass fronts, all glass etc.
There are a multitude of variations. This ''How to build Reptile Enclosures'' book outlines how to build a basic, effective and easily built cage.
Once you have the skills and tools you can pretty well make whatever you like.
The basic design you build will have either a lockable, hinged front door or sliding glass/Plexiglass doors.
This front door can be made of Perspex or Plexiglass or it can be a wooden door with a glass or plexiglass insert. The snake and other reptile cage plans will show you how to make both sorts.
The reptle cage plans contain 4 main variations on cage size but it is a simple task to change these to any size larger or smaller by following the simple directions.
There are a few decisions you need to make before you begin building and purchase your materials.
